Description:
Leave from the pier in Valparaiso to head towards the central coast where we will visit the village of "Isla Negra" where there will be a guided tour round the house and through the grounds of Pablo Neruda's house providing the chance to see the eccentricities of the most famous Chilean poet.
We continue to Algarrobo "Nautical Capital of Chile". Entering Algarrobo, who's named after the abundant "Algarrobo" Tree, (always green and it can reach from 8 to 10 meters in height) in those times these trees could be seen throughout the area, as well Algarrobo is considered one of the oldest Chilean resorts still operating.
Continue to the Yacht Club of Algarrobo towards EL Muelle restaurant for lunch, where, afterwards we will enjoy a boat ride to the surroundings of "Isla Pajaro NiNo (Algarrobo offers an amplitude of penguins) from here we explore its coastline and the Caleta San Pedro which is one of the most picturesque beachfront, here you find the tranquility of its waters and fine sands, while watching the fishermen do their every day chores.
Later we visit the local artisan fishery terminal with its multicolored boats and market place.
The tour continues to the Casablanca Valley for wine tasting and a tour in Vinia Casas Del Bosque. Casablanca is a wine producing valley, famous for producing great white wines with excellent bouquets and taste due to the valley's special climatic conditions.
Once at the town of Casablanca it's a short distance "Villa Casas del Bosque" where after an introductory talk about the vineyard's techniques and production methods we are taken to a viewpoint to see an overview of the vineyard and the valley as well as being an ideal location to taste the various wine options of the vineyard.
From here we return to "Ruta 68" and continue to Santiago airport or hotel.
